Bioactive extruded filament for 3d printer

In recent years, FDM technology (Fused Deposition Modelling) has become one of the most widely-used rapid prototyping methods for various applications. This method is based on fused fibre material deposition on a drop-down platform, which offers the opportunity to design and introduce new materials, including composites. Nadir proposes innovative feedstock production system for the 3D printer and has started on the creation of new composite materials utilising Smart Polymer Compound produced by Melt Compounding Technology with Twin Screw Extruder. Since from a medical and therapeutic perspective, 3D printing is of particular interest for producing personalized devices, implants and drug dosage forms, Nadir provide custom-developed Polymer feedstock materials for FDM machines using biocompatible, permanent, or absorbable polymer, alone or in combination, also with bioactive substances. One of the greatest benefits of this technology is that it can be done using any consumer printer and can be used anywhere in the world. Nadir is able to provide, thanks to a filament extruder, 3d printable filament with diameter from 0,5 – 3mm Ø with constant diameter and industrial standard quality.
